田中達郎氏 経歴
１９７３年 慶応大学法学部卒業後、株式会社東京銀行に入行し、法人部門の要職を歴任、特に海外を中心に担当。２００１年から２００４ 年の間は株式会社東京三菱銀行の執行役員および香港総支配人・香港支店長を兼務。２００６年から２００７ 年はアジア本部長兼中国拠点担当を務め、２００７年から２００８年は常務執行役員国際部門副本部長、２００８ 年から２０１１年まで株式会社三菱東京UFJ 銀行代表取締役副頭取国際部門長を務める。また、直近では 株式会社三菱UFJ フィナンシャル・グループ代表取締役副社長海外担当、ならびに、ユニオン・バンク、エヌ・エイおよびユニオンバンカル・コーポレーションの取締役会長を務める。 ２０１２年 ７月、シティグループ・ジャパン・ホールディングス株式会社（２０１５年に合同会社へ組織変更）取締役会長に就任。２０２０年１２月シティグループ・ジャパン・ホールディングスの取締役会長を退任し、２０２１年１月同社シニア・アドバイザーに就任（現職）。現在は、世界最大規模のPEファンドであるアポロの会長、日本アジア投資（JAIC ジャイク）の顧問、国際文化会館の評議員、言論NPOの理事を務める。

Mr. Tanaka’s Profile:
After graduating from Keio University Faculty of Law in 1973, Mr. Tanaka joined The Bank of Tokyo, Ltd. and held various senior positions in the corporate division, especially overseas. From 2007 to 2008, he served as Managing Executive Officer and Deputy Head of International Division, and from 2008 to 2011, he served as Representative Director and Deputy President, Head of International Division of The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and Representative Director of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc. in charge of International Operations, and Chairman of the Board of Union Bank, N.A. and Union Bank Corporation. In July 2012, he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Citigroup Japan Holdings Corp(reorganized as a limited liability company in 2015). In December 2020, he retired as Chairman of the Board of Citigroup Japan Holdings Corp. And in January 2021, he was appointed Senior Advisor to Citigroup Japan Holdings Corp. He is currently Chairman of Apollo, one of the world’s largest PE funds, an advisor to Japan Asia Investment Co.,Ltd. (JAIC ), a trustee of the International House of Japan, and a board member of The Genron NPO.
